Funto comprehends the complexities and nuances of family relationships and the impact they have on our clients’ lives. She has a professional and practical approach, tailored to each client’s unique needs. Funto has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Provincial Court of British Columbia. She has experience working with both high-net-worth clients and those with lower incomes.

Funto obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) certificate from Nottingham Law School, England, graduating with First Class Honours and Distinctions. She subsequently completed the LLM (Common Law) course and obtained her Master’s degree from UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2022. Since then, Funto has practiced in the area of family law, previously working for one of Vancouver’s premier family law firms before joining the team at Carraig Law Group.
